I am a master student majoring in intelligent information systems (MIIS) at Carnegie Mellon University – School of Computer Science (CMU-SCS), and expecting to graduate in Dec 2019. Prior to this, I got my B.S. degree in Computer Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in May 2018. My fields of interest are Multi-modal Machine Learning and General Deep Learning. I have been doing research in the fields of social network, mathematical modeling and visualization database systems. I have also done some projects in the fields of web development, text information retrieval, operating systems engineering, and parallel computing. I have an outstanding academic record and some distinctive awards and scholarships shown in my curriculum vitae. I am very comfortable with programming languages C, C++, and Python, with some experience in others.
